In the back streets and alleys of Yangchun County, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, every summer brings the test of high temperature and high humidity. Leachate from garbage carries corrosive substances that take a heavy toll on sanitation vehicles—ordinary steel sanitation tricycles rarely last long before the hopper rusts through and the paint peels, reducing collection efficiency and raising maintenance costs. In January 2021, the Yangchun County Ecology and Environment Bureau purchased 63 Yuejiujiu 1.5 m All-Steel Stainless Steel Sanitation Tricycles (high-rail plus flip-top version) through public tender, replacing the old steel fleet and solving the problem at its root.

Built for Harsh Environments

The Yuejiujiu 1.5 m All-Steel Stainless Steel Sanitation Tricycle (high-rail plus flip-top version) was designed specifically for harsh conditions, and its core strengths address the two pain points of corrosion and inefficiency head-on. The body uses 201R stainless steel plate that showed no rust spots after 320 hours of salt-spray testing; the main beam adopts a mortise-and-tenon design with robotic laser welding and carries a 10-year frame warranty, easily standing up to garbage leachate. It runs a self-developed 900W Nuclear Magnetic Power Motor 5.0 with 20 V-type magnetic steel segments, delivering 15% higher performance with no more than 3% attenuation over three years for stable, lasting power. A self-developed intelligent dual-speed 18-tube controller (version 5.0) provides 50% more headroom and saves 8–10% energy over the same distance, lowering energy consumption per trip.

Better Suited to Sanitation Work

Matching the demands of sanitation work, the vehicle supports fast cleaning with a high-pressure washer in just 60 seconds, with wastewater draining in four directions and no residue left behind—removing a tedious cleaning step. A 1500 × 1000 × 400 mm cargo box with a self-tipping dump function lets a single vehicle complete 8 collection cycles per day, significantly cutting labour cost.

Setting the Standard After Two Years of Use

After two years of service, the old steel tricycles had generally rusted through and lost their paint—problems that never appeared on the Yuejiujiu sanitation tricycles, whose stainless steel boxes still looked as good as new. This reliability was recognised not only by the Yangchun County Ecology and Environment Bureau but also by the Yangjiang Sanitation Centre, which adopted it as a procurement standard: all new sanitation vehicles city-wide now use "Yuejiujiu parameters" as their technical specification.
